Babble 10 - Oh, The Power of Storage ~

Whee! I went Christmas shopping today! I just loooovve Christmas (can you feel my excitement bubbling on the surface? Hehe). But … it wasn’t really much of a shopping spree because the town here is so small and insignificant that I pretty much just got my Christmas cards (next year I hope to make my own – expensive things they are!) and wrapping paper … but no presents to wrap, lawl. Wtf.

However, what was exciting is that my mum and I popped into Wilkinsons (a shop that sells allsorts … stationery, toiletries, light bulbs, lawl … that sort of thing) and I found a solution to all my book-storing troubles. Behold!:







I haven’t bought new books lately or anything – just reorganised my room (I’ll do this every couple of months or so, hehe). But I just love little storage systems like the ones we found. Mum bought two for dad’s DVDs downstairs. We both looked at each other like, “Why didn’t we buy these sooner?!” I plan on buying another if it’ll fit in my room. They’re not that big and only cost around £17 each (about $35). I’m a very tidy person by nature so I have to have these things (lawl, it’s in my blood).

Also, I saw this game that I need to buy for my sister. (Dad’s buying her a DS this year):



Has anyone played it? I must admit it looks good so I was thinking about buying myself it too and giving it a whirl, lolz. I have to order my games online though because in the stores here they’re around £30 ($60) and won’t go down in price until they’ve been out for billions of years. *cough* hehe.



Anyway, hmmm … nothing new really, hehe. After shopping with mum for 5 hours straight (in what led to a screaming fest when we got home … we can never go full days without arguing, heh) I’ve retired to the comfort of my room to catch up on my world of cyber space. I’m off work this week so I’ve been trying to finish off my art requests and cut down my ‘To Do’ list. (And play lots and lots of games! Booyah!)

I feel like I haven’t been around MangaBullet as much as I should. Lawl, which is weird because I’m here almost every day … I guess it’s because my journal-spamming everyone’s inbox has fallen silent for a while and I’m still trying to get out of my artblock.

I’m hoping to enter MangaBullet’s Holiday Contest. I feel I really need to challenge myself and this contest is perfect. I’ve already got my sketch done so I just need to scan it, ink it and color the big bugger in, lolz. Wish me luck!

I’ll keep my Request Art list below just in case I forget it. (It could happen, y’know – sometimes my mind just switches itself off! … *FLICK!* … Whoop, there it goes!)
